UPTET Exam Date 2021 (New Exam Date)

According to the notifications, the UPTET exam date was 28-November-2021. However, the exam got canceled before it could take place. It happened because of the alleged paper leak. Even though the UPTET exam date 2021 was announced before, the paper was canceled- at the last minute. 

UPTET exam date 2021 – 2022

The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board administrators started accepting applications from candidates all over the district starting from 7-October-2021. The purpose of the UPTET exam is to test the abilities of candidates who are willing to teach in the future. The testing takes place for teachers for primary grades and elementary schools. 

Due to the sudden cancellation of the exam, there were rumors about the new date. However, lately, UPTET has cleared the air about the false rumors regarding the new date. It is said that the new date remains undecided. However, some reports claim that the exam will take place on the 26th of December, 2021. 

The reason the exam got canceled was that it leaked before it could take place. According to the latest reports, the exam paper was leaked on WhatsApp. Hundreds of suspects have been detained by STF due to the paper leak crime. Although, the official authorities of the Uttar Pradesh Government have still not announced when the exam will take place. Some unofficial reports say that the UPTET exam date 2021 will be announced soon, and the exam will be held next month. 

The UPTET Exam Paper Pattern 2021

The UPTET exam paper contains two papers. The first paper is conducted by candidates willing to teach grade 1-V. The second part is taken by the candidates willing to teach grade VI-VIII. Furthermore, candidates interested in teaching, both I-V and VI-VII can take the two papers. To qualify for the UPTET test, candidates must score a minimum of 60% or more. A certificate is issued by the UPTET authorities declaring the candidate is now eligible to teach the students. 

The primary level exam includes child development, environmental studies, mathematics, language one, and two. The time duration is 150 minutes, and the total is 150 marks. On the other hand, paper II consists of child development, science, and mathematics, language one, and two. It also consists of social sciences. There are 150 questions, and the time duration is 150 marks. The paper is fully MCQ-based. Each question carries one mark. There will be no negative marking. 

The UPTET exam applications were accepted online. However, the exam is set to take place physically and in offline mode. The languages will be English and Hindi. This year, there are approximately 21,65,181 applicants, including 12,91,628 candidates for paper I and 8,73,553 candidates for paper II.
