BPSC District Art and Culture Officer Exam Date 2021 – 2022

The Bihar Public Service Commission has recently announced the date of the District Art and Culture Officer Prelims 2022 examination. According to the latest update, eligible candidates can now see a notice on the latest website that is the bpsc.bih.nic.in. The BPSC district art and culture officer exam date has been announced in a recent notification made by the authorities. The examination is set to be on 29-January-2022.

Bihar District Art and Culture Officer exam is on 29-January-2022 (Saturday). The candidates will be given two hours to complete the exam. The shortlisted candidates will be requested for a computer test where their computer skills will be evaluated.  

This year the Bihar Public Service Commission accepted online applications in February and March 2021. Although the BPSC district art and culture officer exam date is here, it can change. The date is tentative. In case of any changes, it will be updated throughout the official website. 

The Requirements for Applying in BPSC District Art and Culture Exam 2022

To apply for the exam, interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized University. A PG diploma in dramatic art is considered. And a master’s degree in dance. The minimum age limit is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 40 years. However, age relaxation is given upon request. The total number of vacancies is 38 posts. 

Later this year, BPSC started accepting online applications on 3 February. The last date to apply was 2nd-March-2021. 

This year, 38 posts will be recruited under this post. Shortlisted candidates will be given a job on the post of BPCS district art and culture officer. There are 14 seats for the general category, four seats for economically weak candidates, seven seats for EBC, six seats for SC, and one seat for OBC for females. Moreover, there is one seat for ST as well.

BPCS will conduct the District art and culture officer exam on 29-January-2022. The will be of 120 minutes and a total of 150 marks. Although the exam date is announced, it can change depending upon the circumstances. The exam date is conditional, as stated by the official authorities. 

The candidates will be shortlisted based on a preliminary examination, the main exam, and a short interview. The salary package for the chosen candidates starts from Rs. 35,000 – R.s 1,12,400. 

The syllabus includes general studies, geography, Hindi, and general studies. The prelim exam contains only the objective part. Therefore, the marks will be 150 marks in total. Additionally, the interview will be for 100 marks separately. Shortlisted candidates are going to be further shortlisted based on their performance.
